About this drink
Bacchus has been on Korean shelves since 1963 and is still the drink people reach for at the end of a long shift, sold everywhere from pharmacies to convenience stores. The 250ml can carries 2,000mg of taurine and 80mg of caffeine alongside Korean ginseng extract and royal jelly, which gives it a rounder, faintly herbal sweetness instead of the sharp citrus most energy drinks lead with. Lightly carbonated and easier to finish than its size suggests.
How to serve
Drink well chilled. One can is a serving — it carries about as much caffeine as a strong cup of coffee.
Ingredients & allergens
Korean ginseng extract, royal jelly, high fructose corn syrup, caffeine, taurine, inositol, sugar, nicotinamide, pyridoxine, riboflavin, thiamine nitrate, citric acid anhydrous, sucralose, L-lysine, sodium benzoate, sodium chloride, apple juice, essences (orange, pineapple, strawberry), artificial flavours and purified water.
Allergens: Contains royal jelly. Contains caffeine (80mg per can) — not recommended for children or pregnant women.
