Nongshim Heritage Classic
Ansungtangmyun 안성탕면
- 125g pack
- Heat 2/5 🌶🌶
- Ready in 4-5 mins
- From South Korea
A soybean paste broth that is thicker and earthier than the usual chilli-forward ramyun. Mild and hearty.
About this ramyeon
Named after the town of Anseong and on shelves since 1983, Ansungtangmyun is the doenjang pack. Fermented soybean paste and beef stock give it an earthy, almost miso-like depth that is thicker and rounder than the chilli-forward ramyun most people start with. There is warmth rather than heat, which makes it the one to reach for when you want comfort instead of a challenge.
How to cook
Cook in 550ml of water for 4 to 5 minutes. Tofu cubes and courgette suit this broth better than egg.
